Several vehicles in sector 7 reported damage, and multiple other areas experienced power outages. Both Panchkula and Mohali,  two nearby towns, experienced the impact of the heavy rain.
On Friday, the maximum temperature reached 34.5 degrees Celsius .The highest temperature is predicted to be 29 degrees Celsius on Saturday amidst cloudy conditions with rainstorms, according to the meteorological organisation.
